CHR 203 Assignment: Dead End
The sounds of bells chiming filled her ears as she sat on the roof of the clock tower. It was the end of classes for the day and it was time for Eva to begin her assignment. Sitting beside her was her cousin who came to visit, Addy. Somehow, he managed to coax her into taking him into the clock tower for a little peek. Well, it was the least that she can do after he built her a new arm to replace the one she lost and he helped fix it back when it got damaged during the tournament.
Eva watched as Addy finished up his the bread they bought at Moonseed before coming here. 'He`s eating like a pig...' She thought to herself as her cousin gobbled down the last piece of bread in the bag. Well, it`s not always he gets the chance to be treated by her. After swallowing down his food, the girl watched in horror as he belched out in the most horrid way she`s ever seen. 'At least I won`t have to buy him dinner now.' She sighed and stood up.

"Why did it have to be the face?" Stein looked at his reflection in the mirror with a frown. He ran his fingers gently over the scars he got from his Elementalism professor. The scars were part of his class` assignment which is to find which element caused the injury and 'heal it' with its opposite element. He turned his face to different angles, examining it to see what caused it. He didn`t notice a pair of purple eyes looking at him.
It`s been two weeks since Stein moved in with Eva in the Blood Dormitory and it`s been smooth sailing till now. The room was big enough for two people to live in, fully equipped with twin beds, two closets and two desks. As the young man grumbled about his scarred face, Eva sat on her bed near the window. She had a book in her hand, her favourite one in her entire collection. The weather was hot today and it really ruined her mood to finish re-reading it. She looked at her brother as he

Bring me out
Come and find me in the dark now
Everyday by myself I'm breaking down
I don't wanna fight alone anymore
The crowds roar pierced her ears as she walked out from the side of the arena. She faced the white-haired Nephilim, Thane, her opponent for today`s battle. She didn`t look up to the crowd, knowing that her brother is throwing a fit when he realizes that she had gone to fight in the tournament. Oh well, what`s done is done. The elechanic observed her opponent. 'Even though he`s a first year, I shouldn`t underestimate him. Being a student in both Elementalism and Shadowmancy would make him a tricky person to beat. It would be harder if I`d count what little power I have but none the less.' She knew she had no chances of beating him but maybe she might.
Eva didn`t listened to their introduction but instead focused on making sure her plan works. 'For it to work, you'll want to be c

The girl`s voice filled the room. The atmosphere was filled with anger and tension. It`s not always the two siblings would have a big argument but unfortunately, this was one of them. Stein`s face was stern and showed no consideration while Eva`s was angry and she was at the verge of tears. The argument started with the elder sibling wanting to pull out the younger one out of the tournament due to her severe injuries from the previous round and that discussion turned into an argument and was on the borderline to turn into a fight.
“Why? Why won`t you let me compete?!” Eva asked her brother with a sad tone. She wanted to compete in the tournament since it was pretty much the only way she can show everyone how strong she is. She didn`t care about her injuries, may it be previous ones or future ones, she didn`t care. Stein didn`t answer her. He sim
